Money Honey Rachel

       當你成功下載了work sheet後,你可以按她書上手把手引導你如何做財務規劃一步一步的將work sheet完成。而系統也會在一段期間內寄四封信引導你,以下就是信的內容。

Part 1/4: As promised, your budgeting worksheets

Hey Lee, this is Rachel, and I want to “officially” welcome you to my world.

About 7 years ago, I graduated from college completely broke. I literally had $25.16 to my name.

I started building revenue streams (real estate investing, book royalties) and have become a student of financial independence, early retirement, and passive income.

This newsletter is where I share with you everything I’ve learned, from embarrassing money mistakes to secret money hacks that no one knows about.

Here’s the deal: my goal is always to give away better stuff for FREE than what other people charge for.

And as promised, here are your free budgeting worksheets. I poured blood, sweat, and tears into that beauty, and I know you’ll love it.

In my next email, I’m going to invite you to my exclusive online community. It’s a fun, safe space, full of tom-foolery and excellent money questions and feedback.

I want our relationship to start out great…

So I’m going to WOW you with SO much value that you’ll WANT to buy stuff from me in the future.

Sound good?

Cool, then look for that email in a few days. The subject line is “Part 2/4: I was bullied to tears by my boss.”

Your friend,
“Money Honey” Rachel

Part 2/4: I was bullied to tears by my boss

I sat in front of my manager, red-faced and ashamed. She had walked into the office and barked:

“Find the letterhead!”

A timid 24-year-old, I responded, “What letterhead?” After all, in nine months I had never used letterhead.

She looked at me like I was stupid, and said more slowly, “The… letterhead.”

I frantically searched my computer files for something to print. My heart began beating faster as she stood directly behind me, literally tapping her heel.

After 10 seconds, she made a noise of disgust and searched through an abandoned, dusty shelf in the corner of the office. She pulled a piece of letterhead out, held it five inches from my nose, and asked, derision dripping from her voice:

“What do I even pay you for?”

I willed the flush creeping up my neck to go away, the tears to not show. I turned back to my computer, my head drooped, as she stomped away.

How did I get here? I had a financial economics degree and was working as an assistant for a realtor. Overqualified and underpaid.

This wasn’t how it was supposed to turn out. I was bright and capable.

I sat with my head in my hands at that desk for a few moments, until the thought emerged: “I will never feel trapped by a job again.”

I knew what my next step was.

I wanted to – no, had to – become financially independent.

My entire brand was literally born from this moment.

I had an epiphany which led to me writing books and creating content that would be sold to thousands of people.

Because when it came to financial literacy, two “keys” were missing… these missing pieces are the reason most people can’t get ahead financially.

Would you like to know what I found? Are you interested in knowing what it takes to finally “get your financial $hit together?”

If so, then look for my next email in a few days. I’m gonna show you the epiphanies I had, but more importantly I’m going to explain how you can use them to get similar results in your life!

The subject line will be “Part 3/4: These 2 epiphanies changed my financial life"

P.S. I almost forgot. I told you earlier that I was going to invite you into my exclusive online community. You can join here (but please don’t share this link with anyone else; this is for readers of Money Honey only.)

Part 3/4: These 2 epiphanies changed my financial life

Throughout high school and college, my family and friends always came to me for financial advice.

I began to wonder why they weren’t just learning about money on their own or reading books like I was.

Then I had a lightbulb moment (which seems obvious in retrospect): no one LIKES to learn about money! It’s a boring subject, the books are dull and dry, it’s intimidating and overwhelming. Thank you, next.

Epiphany Number 1: If something is fun to learn about, it becomes 100x easier.

I asked myself, “How can I make this topic sassy, fun, and simple?” And that’s when Money Honey was born. In fact, you’re likely reading this email because you’ve already read it!

Allow me to explain Epiphany Number 2.

Recently, I committed to a healthy diet. And then last night, I ate 4 brownies. True story. Honestly this happens all the time... It’s so crazy because I know what I should be doing when it comes to nutrition, so why don’t I do it?! I seriously need someone to follow me around and slap the bad food out of my hand, LOL. (Can you relate?)

This got me thinking: we struggle with diets for the same reason we struggle with money. it’s because delayed gratification is so hard.

Having the discipline to forgo an immediate reward (that delicious candy bar, those adorable shoes) to enjoy a future reward (weight loss, comfy bank account) actually goes against our instinct as humans.

Rest assured: If you have read Money Honey, and have had a hard time implementing what you’ve learned, you are not alone. In fact, studies show that people only retain 10% of what they learn from reading.

Part 3/4: These 2 epiphanies changed my financial life

If you can combine those two things: making personal finance fun, and creating an environment that holds you accountable to implementing what you learn, then you are golden.

There are ways you can do create that for yourself (and I will talk about that in our next email).

Or if you’d rather cut to the chase, I have something that will increase your chances of “getting your financial $hit together” tenfold. Would you like to know what it is?

If so, then look for my next email. The subject line will be “Part 4/4: How to get your financial $hit together”

I’m really excited and I hope you are too!

Rachel “Chocoholic” Richards

P.S. I can’t be the only one that is this bad at dieting! Which food do you find irresistible? (Seriously, reply to this email so I know I’m not alone, haha.)

P.P.S. Have you read Money Honey yet? If you enjoyed it would you be willing to help this small-time author out and leave me a review? I appreciate you, my friend.

Part 4/4: How to get your financial $hit together

Lee,

The golden question is: how can you make personal finance fun, while also creating an environment that holds you accountable?

…Because if you can do those two things, becoming financially independent is inevitable.

Here are my top 3 tips for ensuring success in achieving your financial goal:

1. Make it a game. In the free worksheets you downloaded, you’ll find a balance sheet tracker. I have fun reviewing my net worth each month and trying to beat my previous number. You can compete with yourself for any money-related goal.

2. Get an accountability buddy. Enlist a friend or family member who has similar financial goals, and come up with a plan to check in with one another daily or weekly.

3. Go public. Announce your intent on social media. You don’t have to include personal or financial details, but you can say “Over the next 4 months, I’m going to make massive money moves. I’m announcing this here to help hold myself accountable. Thank you for your support!”

Now if you’re like most people, myself included, maybe you’d rather have “the easy answer.”

Luckily for you, I’ve created something that will increase your chances of success tenfold: an online course.

As we’ve discussed, if self-discipline is your biggest obstacle, then this course will help you by holding you accountable and giving you the structure and support you need to actually take action.

The course is designed to go along with my book, Money Honey, and will go one step further by helping you implement what you learn, creating a fun group environment with weekly challenges and check-ins, and giving you the hands-on tools and resources that you need to succeed.

I am officially inviting you to enroll in “Get Your Financial $hit Together,” a 9-week online course!

I run this course 4 times per year, and there’s a limited number of slots. You can opt to enroll now, or join the waiting list so that you’ll be the first to know when the next round opens.

Pricing info, curriculum, and FAQs can all be found here.

I’m freaking excited. Seriously. This is going to be so good, and I can’t wait to help you on a more hands-on level.
